The location is ideal for a stay in Tokai, it is a 15 minute walk to Tokai station. Free bicycle rental made further transport ideal. The staff were friendly and spoke good English in most cases.

Room furnishings are a little old. The closet door creaks etc. But the rooms are very well setup. Much more spacious than than other budget hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast buffet is awesome. It's about a 20min walk from Tokai station, and a 15min walk to the bus that goes to j-parc. So if you're visiting j-parc for work and the dorms are full, this is quite a reasonable option instead of staying far away in Mito hotels.

- very spatious (for japanese standard) room, clean and well equipped - decent breakfast, mostly japanese cuisine - free, plentiful parking - excellent wifi - very helpful staff - plenty of places to shop and eat around the hotel

room is clean, friendly staff. stopover before heading to nikko np. very near to hitachi seaside park. there're free amenities, coffee and tea. buffet breakfast had good selection of choice.

It was nice to have juice service, bicycle rental, and pudding service. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff is very friendly. Free selfservice welcome drinks with small treats are nice after checking in. Also some toiletries and drinks offered at the reception (tea/coffee bags). Big parking space available at hotel. Breakfast for 800¥ p.p. was great for family, offering also some western style breakfast.
